Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 7, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Pikash, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our application.
2. Description of Service
Pikash provides a local-first personal finance tracking application. The service allows you to manage your financial data, track goals, and analyze transactions. We provide basic features for free, with advanced features potentially requiring a subscription.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
4. Permissions & Acceptable Use
Certain features require device permissions such as microphone access (for voice entry) and notification access (for the transaction detector). By enabling these features, you consent to the processing described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke any permission at any time through your device settings. You agree to only whitelist notification sources for apps and accounts that you own or are authorized to monitor, and to use Pikash in compliance with all applicable laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Pikash is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate financial insights, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided by the app. In particular, transactions generated by AI parsing, voice entry, or the notification detector are suggestions that you are responsible for reviewing and confirming before relying on them. You use the service at your own risk.
6. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
Pikash offers an optional paid subscription, "Pikash Pro," which unlocks features such as cloud sync, a higher AI quota, and increased limits (unlimited wallets, categories, budgets, and goals, plus multi-currency support). Pikash Pro is sold and processed through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store via RevenueCat.
- The subscription fee is charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You manage and cancel your subscription through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
- Refunds are governed by the policies of the respective app store.
- Cancelling only stops future renewals. You keep Pikash Pro for the remainder of the billing period you already paid for — this is why a cancelled subscription still shows as Pro until that period ends.
- When the paid period ends, your Pro entitlement lapses and Pro-only features (cloud sync, higher AI quota, unlimited wallets/categories/budgets/goals, and multi-currency) revert to free-tier limits.
- Pikash remains free and fully usable after cancellation. Local tracking, manual entry, and offline use continue to work, and your existing on-device data is never locked or deleted when Pro lapses.
Refunds & Fair Use
All payments and refunds are processed and governed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Refund requests must be made through your store account; Pikash cannot issue refunds directly. When a store grants a refund, your Pro entitlement is revoked and your access reverts to the free tier. AI usage already consumed while Pro was active is non-refundable and is not restored. Repeated purchase-and-refund cycling, or any attempt to obtain Pro features without paying for them, may result in Pro access being limited or revoked. Note that simply cancelling a subscription is not a refund: a cancelled subscription continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
7. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
